ER308LSi is a solid stainless steel MIG wire designed for the GMAW process, suitable for welding austenitic stainless steels such as 304 and 304L. The elevated silicon content improves puddle fluidity, arc stability, and bead contour, making it ideal for high-speed automated welding and precision manual applications. Supplied on a 5kg spool, this 1.0mm wire delivers consistent feed performance, low spatter, and excellent corrosion resistance.

  • Carbon (C): ≤ 0.03%
  • Chromium (Cr): 19.5 – 22.0%
  • Nickel (Ni): 9.0 – 11.0%
  • Manganese (Mn): 1.0 – 2.5%
  • Silicon (Si): 0.65 – 1.00%
  • Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.03%
  • Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.03%

Mechanical Properties (Typical Weld Deposit):

  • Tensile Strength: ≥ 580 MPa
  • Yield Strength: ≥ 350 MPa
  • Elongation: ≥ 35%
  • Ferrite Content: FN 4–10 (varies with dilution and shielding gas)
